What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Our Beliefs

Salvation

Believing that a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ is the only solution to so many of the issues we face today, we understand:

John 3:16 tells us that God sent Jesus into the world to die for our sins in order that we may have eternal life.  Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God and that all the gifts available to the New Testament Church are available to us today.

Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

Holy Spirit

Our Scriptural guidelines for operation in the gifts of the Spirit are the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control...

Galatians 5:22-23. The gifts of the Spirit without the fruit of the Spirit brings glory to the individual, and not to Christ.

The Priesthood of All Believers

Laypersons have the same right as ordained ministers to communicate with God, interpret Scripture, and minister in Christ’s name.

Sanctity of Life

Procreation is a gift from God, a precious trust reserved for marriage. At the moment of conception, a new being enters the universe: a human being created in God’s image. This human being deserves our protection, whatever the circumstances of conception.

Heaven and Hell

We believe that heaven is a real and literal place where the saved will dwell forever, and that hell is a literal place of torment where unbelievers will reside forever.

Israel

We believe that the nation of Israel has a special place in God’s plan: past, present, and future.
